Colorado State University Recognizes Elizabeth Temte, 2013-2014 Eco Leader!

Elizabeth Temte was selected from a competitive pool of applicants to serve as a sustainability peer educator for Newsom Hall 2013-2014. Eco Leaders educate their peers on University sustainability programs, including energy conservation, waste reduction, recycling and composting, community service, and the interconnection between sustainability and social justice. Eco Leaders also attend weekly training meetings the staff advisors to learn more about sustainability topics and strengthen speaking and engagement skills. Eco Leaders like Elizabeth contributed to Colorado State ranking #1 in the STARS sustainability index this year!
